More of comic book store manager Stuart on "Big Bang Theory"

Leonard, Sheldon & Co. may be hanging out at the comic book store more often next season. Kevin Sussman, who plays the more likable comic book store manager Stuart compared to the stereotyped “Comic Book Guy” Jeff Albertson from the Simpsons, will now be more of a regular on the show for the upcoming sixth season of the hit CBS comedy. He will not be a core character like other past actors on the show have been in the past. Sussum has been recurring on the show since Season 2, appearing in 15 episodes so far and there is always hope that he could be bumped to a main character.

Stuart played a key part in the relationship between Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Bialik) as it was Stuart’s date with Amy that prompted Sheldon to make her his girlfriend. His character also was behind a bet that produced one of the most popular images from the show with the main gang dressed as  Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, and Supergirl.

Be on TV and meet Kevin Smith this weekend

Director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Red State) just announced via Facebook that he is going to be in his hometown of Red Bank, New Jersey at his comic book store, "Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash" (featured on television's "Comic Book Men" and located at 35 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ) for a signing for his new book "Tough Sh*t: Life Advice from a Fat, Lazy Slob Who Did Good." If you've never met Smith or have yet to get his autograph, or if you need to purchase a copy of his new book, you can do both this Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Stash. Just try to get there early, at the very least to secure a great spot at the front of the line.

The Simpsons live in Springfield, ******* U.S.A.

The biggest secret was revealed today that the mystery state of Springfield; where the Simpsons live is

FROM:
"PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — One of the best-kept secrets in television history has been unmasked, with “The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening revealing the Springfield in Oregon is the basis for the hometown of his characters.
The admission came in an interview with Smithsonian Magazine published online Tuesday.
Groening says he was inspired by the television show “Father Knows Best,” which took place in a place called Springfield. Springfield, Ore., is 100 miles south of Groening’s hometown of Portland.
Groening says he has long given fake answers when asked about the Simpsons’ hometown.
The show has made a running joke of hiding the true Springfield’s location. In one episode, daughter Lisa points to Springfield on a map, but the animated “camera view” is blocked by son Bart’s head."

I always thought it was Springfield in Illinois were where the Simpsons lived because of all the mob/crime, shady government, and craziness in IL is like watching the "Simpsons". Heck,  Jeff Albertson aka "Comic Book Guy" is just like every comic shop owners in IL and dealer you find at WWChicago or C2E2 and there are always famous people that show up in IL to include Stan Lee who will be at WWChicago.  All the character mirror people you will meet in IL. Well that dream is shot and that is the "WORST NEWS EVER." but I will still watch every show.
